Halloween Happenings

I went pretty low key on Ben's costume this year.

He didn't keep his hat on too long but I was able to snag a few pics while it was in place.

Josh had Institute choir in costume and posed with Ben before he left.

We had our usual, informal family gathering that evening as trick or treaters came and went.
I had Dad keep track of numbers for me just to get an idea of how many visitors we had.
We counted an even 70 costumed kids and approx. 30 doorbell rings.

I can't remember if we included these two hoodlums in our count or not... :)

Jo played us a little ditty on his banjo.  He's been taking lessons :)
{On a side note, you can barely see the dark spot on the carpet between Jo and the couch.
Our finish guy had come back that day to fix the spots on our post that hadn't taken the stain when he finished it months before.  He got some stain on the carpet and felt so bad about it!  We weren't able to get it out with anything we tried and I was frustrated about it.  A couple of days later I finally got the guts to try WD40 on it like the internet was suggesting.  It was quite miraculous in getting rid of it!}

Anyway, back to Halloween...

Some cute ladies :)

I asked Mom to bring her usual dry ice and root beer...

This is such a fantastic pic of Mom and Ben!

After eating dinner we played games and enjoyed a jolly good evening together!
Abby shared these pics she took of Andy while we played Skull King.

Abby Turns 20!

Abby shares a birthday with our cute little neighbor Emma.  We saw an instagram post that Amy had done for Emma's bday and one of the throwback pictures reminded Abby of one of herself years ago... so we went on a walk down memory lane finding all the cute pics :)

This is her fave :)  She says it's classic her.

I had to get some current pics too so I had her run outside in front of the burning bushes.

Blurry but cute :)

She and I spent some time in town during the day shopping for some things she wanted and going to some thrift/vintage stores.
I also took her to meet Matt at Zuppas for lunch.  I think she had a fun day.

That night we did cake, gifts, watched Harry Potter and...

... did face masks :)

The boys were really good sports about participating and Ben was the only one to escape the activity.
He looked at us pretty funny while we had them on.

A few nights later we celebrated her and James at the dome.  Andy grabbed these pics since I was downstairs not feeling well.

We love our Abs and are enjoying having her home for a few months!

Fall Break in Park City

For fall break we all went to Park City for a couple of nights.

It snowed so there weren't many opportunities for outside activities.  James joined us the first evening for games and good conversations.

I realized all the pictures I took were of Ben in the living room with different family members.  He employed a mixture of scooting around on the floors and walking while we were there.

Some loves for Grandpa

Grandpa was showing Ben some animals on his phone...

Cousin Joey was there for the weekend as well.

Something about the grandfather clock fascinated Ben this visit...

We had a good couple of days before we had to get back for Josh to go to work.
