October Treats

I made some cookies for my nephew's fiance's bridal shower.
She had bright, springy wedding colors in October so it was a fun set to do.

It wasn't until I arrived at the shower that I found out I had spelled her name wrong!  Oh, I was so disappointed that I hadn't even thought twice about spelling it while I was making the cookies.  I felt so bad!

I was also asked to do some baptism cookies for a friend's daughter.  I was told she loved purple.
I was really happy with how they turned out even though I was worried they weren't very "little girlish".

I made a bunch of caramel apples for Andy's faculty and also neighbors and friends.

When Andy took them to work he sent a picture to me of the secretaries organizing them :)

After they went home with the faculty, I got a text from a wife asking if she could buy some for Halloween for her grandchildren.  So she ordered 10 and said she was going to pay me $100 for them.  I tried to talk her down but she insisted.
When I made them a couple of days before Halloween, I tried an extra one that evening and wouldn't you know it, I had overcooked the caramel.  They were edible but it was just a smidge too hard.  So the next day I made another batch and was much happier with them.
