The simple yet lovely cake...
Mothers of the Bride and Groom
I didn't get a good picture of them both but my in-laws came up for the reception.
Funny story, Merill and Nancy met T before any of the rest of the family. Jo and T were attending a ward in Park City where one of her friends was leaving on a mission and speaking in church. It happened to be Merill and Nancy's ward. Nancy saw and recognized Jo and invited them to come over to the house afterward and visit...so they did.
The reception was at Herm's Inn which is a fun restaurant close to the mouth of the canyon.
Above right is the super cute photographer who ended up staying longer than she was expected to simply because she was having so much fun :)
The food was catered by a family friend who did an amazing job!
Andy showing off the groomsmen's socks...
There's got to be a good caption out there for this picture of T and my dad...
Caught with food in my mouth...
Some of the cousins...
It was a really beautiful venue and such a pleasant evening weather wise...
The Bride and Groom's first dance
Another funny story...
T and her dad had worked out with James the DJ to play Butterfly Kisses for their dance together but after only 30 seconds or so to switch over to Another One Bites the Dust.
Well, they start dancing and unexpectedly both get very emotional. James couldn't switch it in the middle of that so he just lets it keep playing and they keep crying and hugging...
eventually, they stop, dry their tears and give James the signal...
T's family are dancers and they have some serious moves so it was super fun to see these two kick up their heels and cut a rug :)
Still drying tears....
Maggie was the dancing queen and everyone took turns dancing with her...
T's dad, Mark, rolled up his pants and did a jig for us...
James had some moves of his own...
Brothers...time to go...
An exciting departure for the honeymoon...
Love those two!
What a great day it was. We're thrilled that Tiana is now a part of our family :)!!!
Great post--you really captured the evening. It was so much fun!
