Matt participated in the fall recital.
He played the Prelude from Prelude and Tocatta and did a great job!
Afterward, we went to Beehive Grill as a family. Dad had stayed home with Ben since it is easier to watch him at home than at the recital. He was going to bring him to meet us for dinner but ended up just taking him to his house since we had such a long wait at the restaurant.
We had a really nice time.
Josh called and talked to us that evening as well since it was the day after Abby's bday and he hadn't been able to talk to her then.

I have been going really simple for Ben's costumes the last few years. He's been Elmo before but I just want him to be comfy and not be trying to tear things off all day at school so sweats are the way to go :)
My parents came over that evening and Josh called again since it was his regular Monday.
Abby was working until late evening and Matt hung out with friends.
We got 25-30 doorbell rings and as always, I was happy to move on to November :)
