November 1st our builder was at our house...I think we were getting the cement cut down in the basement to open up for a doorway...anyway, he told us we would be dried in in three weeks. I said, "You mean three weeks from when we start framing?" (because at the time all we had was just the concrete pit) and he said, "No, three weeks from today!"
I got my hopes up...looking back I shouldn't have.
By Thanksgiving (more than three weeks later) they hadn't even started framing.
Although, our lumber had been delivered November 9th and had just been sitting there for a couple of weeks.
The week after Thanksgiving, Chase's brother Dustin showed up and started getting to work (probably due to Andy sending a bold email to Chase a week or so earlier).
We finally had some walls up and we were super excited to see some progress!
As a matter of fact, I had been planning to take our Christmas card picture in this setting so, as soon as we could I made everyone put on a flannel shirt and head out into the cold.
Abby and Matt had some fun after I got the shots I needed :)
I like the one of the three kids together--and Matt and Abby's photos are fun. :)
