There were two babies about to be born for which I wanted to do cookies.
Our nephew and his wife were going to have a baby girl and Ben's teacher was going to have her first baby...a boy. I had made up my mind to do "a little honey" theme for our nephew's family but wasn't sure if it was baby boyish enough for Ben's teacher. I got on her instagram to see if I could get an idea for a theme for her cookies and lo and behold...I had totally forgotten when they announced their pregnancy, it was Halloween and they dressed up as Christopher Robin and Pooh Bear and said "A little Honey is on the way". Well, that was all the sign I needed. I kept the same theme for both, just changed up some pink for blue and I was good to go!
I mailed the pink ones off to Arizona and took the blue ones to Ben's school.
They were all well received :)
A couple of weeks later I had a niece speaking in church before she departed on a LDS mission to Texas...
There was a lot of trial and error with this set but it was also super fun! The boots ended up being my favorite :)
I had another niece getting baptized early June so I had to have the cookies ready to go late May so I could send them on the road up to Oregon with my parents.
Also, some favorite flower for Senior Ball...
