October Odds and Ends

 Ben had to get some routine labs done so we took him in one Saturday morning.

He had to have his mater and mcqueen and his pumpkin that he brought home from school :)

He was such a good buddy...super social and saying hi to everyone and showing them his things.

His blood work actually went really well too...the smoothest and quickest in a long time.

Of course he asked for fries on the way home (he seems to know that after a hospital or Dr visit we are always willing to give him his favorite :)

Our nephew Tom got married at the Provo City Center temple.

I had wanted to try and get a good family picture while we were there but it ended up not being an ideal time so I didn't push it.  However, Nancy took a few family pics and I was pretty happy with how they turned out.  So, even though they are not ones I will blow up and hang on the wall, I did enjoy these.

In between the sealing and the reception we took Abby out for a birthday lunch at Red Robin since she wasn't going to be able to come home for her birthday :*(

The OG Bryan clan took the opportunity of everyone being together to get some pictures at the reception.

The morning of the wedding, Merril's dad actually passed away.  He was almost 99 and Andy's last remaining grandparent.

The next Thursday we went to his funeral in Ogden.

We just had Ben go to school but the boys and Abby were all able to join us.  Josh had to rush home right after the funeral to get to work so he isn't in the pictures below but let it be noted that he was present.

Cousins

James has made it a tradition to take he and his birthday buddy (one day apart) out to lunch to celebrate.

I'm so grateful they live close enough that it is convenient and that James makes the effort to connect with his niece :)
