Hawaii Day 7

Well, this place was not nearly as colorful as our first place but I still wanted to throw in a few pictures.  It was a very comfortable place though...

After we checked out of our rooms and loaded our car.  We left our poor boogie boards on top of the trash can hoping someone would put them to use.
Then we went walking (Andy carried Ben since his stroller was down at the bottom of the car under all the suitcases) down to the gift shop.  I had been craving an acai bowl so Abby and I shared one while Andy took a work call.

We really didn't know what to do with ourselves until our flight that evening so we found some more gift shops...I bought more macadamia nuts...
and another shave ice place...

and then ended up where I'm sure everyone who visits Hawaii goes to eat...The Cheesecake Factory :)

The food was yummy and we were all super stuffed...

...but some people still insisted on cheesecake.
Of which I was one :)
The four of us that wanted it though couldn't agree on flavors (I wanted us to share) so someone got his way since his birthday was coming up...

...and Abby got her way (for no particular reason) and Matt and I shared with her.

We arrived at the airport well ahead of when we needed to be there...like three hours.
We took several walks :)

About half an hour before we were supposed to load the plane Andy realized we had packed Ben's evening meds in our checked bag!  My thought was just to pray hard that he wouldn't have any seizures on our red eye flight but Andy had a different plan.  He went and talked to someone and through some fancy maneuvering, they were able to find our bag and get it off the plane.  Andy had to go back and forth through security, find the meds and run back to us at the terminal.  He made it just in time for us to give it to him.  We were super grateful that worked out and we wouldn't have to worry the whole flight home.

Some people were able to sleep a little bit on the way home...others not so much :(

Thankfully, Ben was one of those that was...

Wow!  We all crashed when we got home!
It was such a fantastic experience!
I'm so glad we just took the family and went for it since there were several reasons we could have decided to not even try...worries over how Ben would do being chief among them.
We were so blessed to have had the opportunity and also that Ben did as well as he did!

I will leave you with a picture of most of my macadamia nut purchases (some had already been consume ;)
