February Flowers and Festive Frivolities

One of my favorite corsage/boutonnière sets of the month...

For Christmas, one of my cute friends gave me this cute planter with crocus bulbs in it.  They bloomed in February and made me so happy :)!

Valentine's Day flowers were busy as usual.  These were a few of my favorites I put together...

Andy's secretary, Bri Wright, threw a regency birthday party for herself at the institute (it got delayed a month from her January birthdays).  I was thrilled Andy agreed to participate.  He was a really good sport and let a fellow gentleman provide a makeshift cravat for him...

There was a musicale, complete with a Mr Churchill who stepped in and started singing a duet with Bri during her solo at the piano.  Also, a delish dinner was served followed by dancing.  Bri gave us instruction on a few different period dances.  It was so much fun!  It was mostly Bri's family along with us and two other secretaries and their families.

The woman of the hour...

Me, Bri and Katie Ash.
I didn't go very far to try and find a regency dress but I was kind of wishing I had once I got there.

  1. That is a very delicate looking corsage and boutonniere. And I especially love the last floral arrangement with the purple tulips and peachy-pink roses.
Get a pattern, Aimee. We could make a regency dress.
