It was so fun having Christmas morning in our new space!
The kids waited patiently while Andy got his smoothie ready.
Then, as is tradition, we read the Christmas story.
Then, on to the gifts...
more smoothie...
not too impressed...
We spent some time on the phone with Josh.
Abby took it upon herself to give us a white Christmas by putting "President Snow" from the Hunger games on our Christmas tree late the night before :)
She printed and cut out and place about 10 pics of the aptly named man.
She had to explain who it was since I didn't know. She's so clever :)
We gathered at the dome for the traditional Christmas brunch...
Then it was game time.
We played Blank Slate and by the end we even had Dad playing...and Josh on the phone (on the lamp between James and Abs :)
That evening the boys came over for some ping pong...
...doubles...
...and then board games.
Ransom Notes is a fave right now.
James posted this on his stories...
Let me translate since I think it will be too small to read in the picture...
"Y'all, this dazzling pantsuit daddy, he no more, bad fantasy"
"Young princess, bulbous sack bro, unlikely"
"child, so, guy travel at night but not any pleasure treasure"
"dude, old play hero is dream"
"he not want us, go to chocolate adventure"
"i confess, UFO belly man, a betrayal mishap"
It was a lovely Christmas day!
And again, so awesome to have it in our new and improved home!
It all looks so fun, but I especially love the first photos of the kids by the Christmas tree.
