I've been "working" on this quilt for a long time...ever since we got our new couches in the living room which are now 2 years old :)
The top has since been sewn together but I am once again at a stand still. I just need to finish the thing!!!
This was a pricey Chinese Money plant that Andy gave to me for Christmas. It was big and healthy.
Then one day, Ben grabbed a banner that was being held up by this heavy pot and pulled it to the ground. This is the sad state I found it in. I was really sad. I am happy now to report now though that it has since rallied...still not to its full former glory but hopefully it will get there.
Crumbl has come to the south end of our little valley and I don't know if I am ashamed or happy to admit that for a few months I was a weekly supporter of this joy bringing establishment.
It was a fun tradition to add to our family Friday evenings.
I have since been able to break the habit and now only occasionally partake :)
Valentine's Day at the flower studio was crazy!
On top of the holiday we had a school dance which made it super busy!!!
Abby had a guitar concert...
This guy sang "Wild Thing" with the most deadpan expression and low energy level...
it was cute and made us laugh :)
Abs did great!
It's always fun to hear her playing around the house and improving her skills.
Ben got a couple of cute Valentines...
"Dear Ben, you are very helpful in the school. We all love to see you and have a good day!"
"Dear Ben, you are amazing! and no matter what, don't give up!!! and if bullies bully you, you have the right to tell...no matter what they say.
but please Ben, never give up!!!"
I got to go on a birthday cross country skiing excursion with my friend Trina!
And finally, Josh had an orchestra concert complete with movie scenes :)
Fun as always :)!!!
Just stipple that quilt and get it bound. :) Like I have any room to talk.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, didn't hear about the guitar concert.
Love the Valentines Ben received. So sweet.
Looks like good, cold fun on your cross-country ski outing.
I was trying to recall if I had been to that orchestra concert of Josh's, and then I saw the photo at the end. I guess I was. LOL
