4th of July!

I wasn't expecting to have a 4th of July celebration this year since we often host those at our home and that was not an option this year.

So glad Jo and T offered!  I was worried about mosquitos but they blessedly held off until the sun went down.  Other things that made it a truly magically pleasant evening was the unusually cool temps for July, the great food, amazing company, beautiful sunset (of which I didn't get a picture), sprinkles of rain and the occasional call of a peacock from the neighboring farm's menagerie.

It was fun to have Eric and Valerie, James, T's friend and her boyfriend and TJ and Olivia (everybody's friends :)

I was content to sit and listen to the game of "Ransom Notes" that was going on behind me.

Jo and T have made a sweet little patio out back that was such a great gathering place for the evening.

Sadly, Matt had to work at the Shack but grateful Andy was able to make it eventually (he had been out of town earlier in the day)

 Everyone agreed, it was a fantastic 4th!
