Fall Piano Recital

Recital time again!  

This one seemed to creep up pretty fast on us but, in a way, that was a good thing.

Matt played Raging Storm.

It was a good one for him to pound out :)

Josh played Scherzo.

Josh practices without complaining and I love it :)

     

Abby played Rosemary's Theme.

She had to push herself hard to learn it in time but she did it!

 

They each did a fantastic job and I am proud of them!

Thanks for letting me force you all to take piano lessons and actually practice :)

Matt turns 12!

Our little "born in the car" baby is 12!

He has been so ready for this day :)

He chose to go to Black Bear Diner for dinner...

Ben was in a snuggly mood :)

Matt wanted a picture with the bear and Ben followed him over.

Matt was fighting his hair in the wind and Ben was just trying to keep his eyes open with it whipping in his face...the wind, not the hair.

Back at home, Andy and the kids had Stk. Standards Night (which Matt chose not to attend even though he's old enough now) and so we waited for them to get home before opening gifts and celebrating more.

Matt chose cheesecake with caramel topping.

I've gotten pretty lazy over the years and always buy their cakes now :(

We realized that most of his gifts matched...grey/black/white/teal :)

Celebrating at Grandpa and Grandma's house...

I did actually make this cake!  Matt helped me too :)

                

I love that smile of his!

Matt is a pure delight with a lot of spunk!

We love his sense of humor and his kindness to others.

So proud of him and the young man he is becoming.
