September 2019

Josh was able to finally get his braces off!
It took a little over two years but he looks great!

I was able to help Laura with some dance flowers again...about 150 orders...it kept us hopping for hours and hours!

3 of my 4 Limelight hydrangeas, that Andy gave me for my birthday, survived the summer and I was so thrilled when they actually flowered their first year and turned pinkish as the days grew colder.

Our blackberry bush was productive as usual but
it seemed like towards the end of the season, hundreds of wasps enjoyed them before we could.

August 2019

Andy always does cute things around the house leading up to our anniversary...
This marked 17 years together for us.
He left the rose petals on our bathroom counter and he remade the blanket on our bed into a heart every morning of the week.
Love my cute man :)

I wish I would have gotten more pictures of this next event but I only got a few of Abs and Ben in the water.  Andy was put in the Stake Presidency in June and the Stake President planned a family day at Bear Lake.  It was a good opportunity to get to know some of the other members of the presidency and their families.  After several hours at the lake we all went to a family cabin and had dinner and spent the evening together.  It was really great...made some instant new friends :)
I made a baby quilt for a friend...
It had been a while since I had been down in my craft corner so I was grateful for an excuse :)

Matt had a back to school night at his new school.
Big 7th grader in the house.
I always love the moment where I get to watch them try out their locker.

 First Day of School

Josh 11th grade.............................................................Abby 9th grade

Matt 7th grade....................................................................Ben 5th grade
It is a common occurrence to find Ben zonked out on the floor.
Bless him :)

For several weeks we endured a pantry moth infestation.
I think they came in on some almonds.

We had put out traps and they collected a whole lot but we still had a problem.

I decided to do a serious deep clean to try and take care of them once and for all.
I spent hours moving everything out of the pantry and combing it all for moths, larvae and cocoons

I felt really good about my efforts but as I was putting everything back on the shelves I spied a worm crawling around in a box that I had already checked and given the green light.  Ooh I was so mad!
Well, all I can say is that after a few more weeks, we have killed a bunch more but they are certainly dwindling.  I think eventually they will be gone...fingers crossed!

Us Bryan girls did our annual Swiss Days thing...

I thought these hanging plant orbs were awesome!!!

This was my haul this year...

A Couple of Odds and Ends and The Kidd Family Camp

One day the boys and I were headed into the orthodontist and decided to stop by Grandma Kidd's house

We had to get their current height marked on the door frame...

This was a thank you card we received from Andy's student teachers that were hired that spring.
I know it's not as funny when you don't know the people but we got such a kick out of this card that I wanted to document it.  We ended up using the Sizzler gift card a couple of months later.  We had never been as a family and the kids thought it was amazing :)
(You'll probably have to click on the pictures to read the green texts)

The Kidd Family Camp...
Ben taking a nap...of course :)

Game time...

Kid's skit time...

Matt was such a good sport and was the main girl character...

Minute to Win It time...

This one is always in the line up.
Abby and Matt participated this year...

We got Mom to participate in one too...

Matt volunteered to do the same one...

Ben was not in a mood to sit still but I liked these pictures of Andy so I stuck them in

Andy took Ben home and the rest of the kids and I stayed and hung out a little longer.
It's always good to be with the Kidds.
