Andy has been 2nd counselor in the Stake Presidency for the last six years.
It was time for them to be released so President Farnsworth and his wife Angie gathered us all for a nice dinner at Elements in early June. This is the only picture I have from the evening. More were taken of the whole group but I can't seem to round them up.
The second weekend in June, Elders Shumway and Collins joined us to reorganize the stake.
These were taken that Saturday at the Stake Center.
Left to Right....Savanah and Zach Bassett, Lorna and Sean Oborn, Angie and Dan Farnsworth, Andy and me, Kerry and Heather Humphreys
Elder and Sister Shumway, the Oborns, the Farnsworths, Us, Sister and Elder Collins
It was a lovely meeting on Sunday.
We were able to meet in the newly renovated Logan tabernacle for the second time for Stake Conference.
Brent Skinner was put in as the Stake President with Jeff Nielsen as first counselor and Aaron Gillingham as second. They will be fabulous!
Andy and I had a wedding reception up on campus. With neither of the boys at home to be with Ben he came along as our buddy. We stopped by the newly built Institute building before we went home. It's been 2.5 years since the old one was torn down. It should be ready within the next few months. We are ready to have a building again!
This next project was months in the making.
I wanted to put together a heritage/ancestor wall.
It was so hard to narrow down to just a few pictures. I also wanted some art pertaining to some of the original homelands so I found some lovely downloads on Etsy to print.
I collected frames from many stores and decided on the pallet of black, gold and dark wood. I spray painted accordingly. I worked on many different arrangements on the floor and when I finally decided on the layout I started sticking them up with Command velcro strips. They ended up working beautifully! I'm so glad I didn't use nails since I ended up changing my mind on the layout a few times after they were all hung.
I am thrilled with how it turned out!
I didn't get many pictures on Father's Day but here are the few I did get.
So grateful for my awesome pops and my wonderful husband.
I didn't want my brother to feel left out :)
