This was the last night Ang was going to be in town. Of course we played games and I was able to stay a little later than the rest of my family for some extra play time.
One of the nights Ang and the boys came over for games, I was working on some cookies and Ang asked if I had ever had anyone take pictures of me at work. Since I hadn't she went ahead and took some.
So kind of her to think of that :)
The first week of August Matt went on a road trip with some friends.
Ironically, they went to the Washington coast :)
Seth, Benji, Orren, Matt and Steven

This was Benji's senior trip.
His parents also went and they all stayed in a home owned by their extended family.
They had such a blast!
These are the cookies I made for Macy's mission talk.
I have since become more educated on copyright laws (I had to look them up since I was asked to do some cookies with a Toy Story theme) I now realize I should not have done the blue Edmonton Canada Mission cookie based on the Edmonton Oiler logo 😬
It was actually a pretty tricky cookie to make with 3 concentric circles to try and pipe evenly.
Andy really thought a hockey cookie would be perfect for the occasion though so I made it work.
Another one of Andy's ideas...I think I'll keep him around :)
Macy did awesome with her talk even if the meeting did go over by half an hour!
In addition to Macy, two brothers spoke...one leaving on his mission and one returning. They were the bishop's sons and I think all three speakers were told to not worry about the time.
I loved watching Josh interact with Ellie and Eli's youngest, Knox.
