Matt on Stage Again

Matt and some of his buddies brought the boys band 'The Other Direction' back together that they had created last year for the talent show at school.

Again, I didn't get great pictures since I was far back in the audience but they added a lot more choreography this time and also had a ton of fun with it!

(stole this one from an instagram reel)

Also, he and Maggie Liddle chose to do a contemporary scene for theater competition.  They made it to state and then at state, got 4th out of 47.  They struggled keeping it under the 6 minute limit since their scene required a lot of emotional pauses :)  Lynch had all the kids that competed perform at the school one evening between region and state.  It was fun to see it since I had heard it being practiced in our basement many times...(there was a fair amount of yelling since it is a scene between a husband and wife who are talking about getting a divorce).

The Rocket Garden, The Golden Spike and The Spiral Jetty

In early March the two oldest kids plus Andy had their spring break.

Nothing big was planned and Josh had forgotten to ask for work off so they just did a few small excursions to fill up their week.

One evening Andy took Abby and Matt (Josh was working) on a jaunt to the Spiral Jetty.  On the way they stopped at the Rocket Garden and the Golden Spike.

Abby and Matt enjoyed a photo shoot at the jetty at sunset.

March Odds and Ends 1

Sunday night games at our house...and Jo being silly with ponytails.  I don't remember why he did this but we all got a kick out of it.

I believe this was another Sunday evening when my brothers were visiting and we were about ready to say a family prayer.  The boys helped Mickey kneel between them (not for real though :)

This might have been the same night after the boys had left and Andy decided for our family study that we would do charades and the boys would act out the different scriptures that we were learning.
It was quite entertaining to watch :)
