Abby's Baptism

My one regret for this day was that I did not get enough pictures.
I tried to not be too stressed to enjoy the day but I guess I was a little too relaxed and didn't document it like I should have.

It was a lovely day and Abby was beaming.
We had a lot of family support and are so grateful for all those that came and shared in the day.

This is the only picture I got of Abby in her dress :(  I would have loved to have gotten one of her and Andy, one of her with the whole family, one with her and the other two kids that were baptized that day, etc...
She was so funny though and as soon as the program ended, she zipped home with her cousins before we had a chance to do any of that.
We ended up not being able to find the dress she loved back in February in the right size so with the help of her aunt Jenny we found this one and it made it's way down from Idaho to Salt Lake to our place just in time.  She didn't try it on until after the baptism so we were relieved to see that it fit her just right.

I literally, last minute, threw these little plaques together to label the five different soups we served.  I found cute, random shaped, unfinished plaques at Michael's and painted them with chalkboard paint.  Then I used a chalkboard marker to write the names.  They were kind of fun.

Bapa took care of Ben the whole time.  Bless him :)

  1. It was a very special day. Didn't someone from the Primary get a photo of Andy and Abby before the baptism? I thought I saw a woman asking them to come to the foyer for a photo before the meeting started.

  2. Abby looks so pretty! I'm glad it was such a good day for you. And all of your Halloween costumes from your other posts turned out awesome!
