This was Abby's 5th year in Hula lessons.
It's always so fun to watch her perform. She really seems to enjoy it.
Her teacher is constantly telling me that she does so well and is a great little dancer. She's not one to hand out compliments lightly so it means a lot.
This year, Abby also did the Maori Poi Balls.
They are awesome! She worked so hard.
They're two soft "balls" on the end of ropes that they swing around and twirl and do all kinds of stuff with. It's pretty complicated and very impressive to watch.
They get tangled easily and I was so worried for her during the performance but she did awesome and didn't have any problems :)
Way to go Abs!
We love you so much and are so proud of you.
It was a very fun night. Abby is a confident little performer and a delight to watch. The poi balls were awesome!
